My Team Around Me Guide

Changing Futures Bristol have created a guide to using the My Team Around Me (MTAM) approach, to support the usage of MTAM across the system.

MTAM is a trauma-informed, multi-agency approach, that puts the person at the centre of their support. More than just a model, MTAM fosters long-term, trusting relationships and recognises the lasting impact of trauma. Bringing professionals together to plan for safety, share information, and stay involved during transitions.

This Guide is for all staff and services in Bristol working with people experiencing multiple disadvantage. It offers practical steps to implement an MTAM way of working, and to develop more inclusive, and coordinated support systems.

MTAM is fast becoming the default way of working in Bristol.
If you are interested in learning more about MTAM or finding out how you can use the approach in your practice, this guide is a valuable starting point for you.
